Bring good food, better tequila, and an open mind about who you're dealing with and we'll get along just fine. Any kind of company welcome, but I don't trust easy.

i'm not sure if that means i'm doing it right or wrong.
no subject
whiskey can do the same, but I like the taste of tequila better

Sounds like drinking with you might be a little dangerous.
no subject
only dangerous if you care about passing out and then starting again. drinking with me is fun, I promise
no subject
So maybe you can help a girl out, then? I've wandered a little bit, but I could use some help figuring out which places are worth drinking at.
no subject
so who am I teaching about the bars in Cadelle? I need to start with a name, especially since I might forget it after a long night of drinking
no subject
right, of course. i'm quinn. so have you been here very long, or are you just that much of a frequent flier?
no subject
and what's your strength, quinn?
no subject
performing.
[ in so many different ways. quinn has played so many different roles for so many different people she sometimes forgets who she is. ]
not as useful as knowing the best drinking spots maybe, but it has its moments.

[ He knows the future isn't like his past, but there's only so many things that he can imagine when she says that. ]
As in, on a stage? A dancer?
[ He doesn't say the word brothel, but it's a very near miss. ]
no subject
sometimes, yeah. lately it's been more singing than anything, but I sort of grew up damcing.
no subject
nobody does that apart from the girls who sing in saloons where I come from. I didn't even think that could be a job.
no subject
well i don't know where or when you come from
but it sounds like a lot has changed.
it's actually pretty common now, for people to make a living singing, dancing or both.
but since you brought it up, what do you do for work around here?
no subject
I work at the gun range, teaching people how to shoot, because that's what I'm good at, at home. no one sings and dances there, though, usually they get shot if they try
no subject
at least where i come from. i guess i'm not really sure how time works here.
impressive. i don't think i've ever even seen a gun in real life.
you're not going to try to shoot me if i sing, are you?
[ just be glad you didn't get the one who spontaneously bursts into song, vasquez. quinn at least needs a legitimate reason to sing. ]
no subject
depends how nicely you sing, but I think I'd go for the lasso first, then maybe a gag? Unless you've got a pretty voice. I did like the lullabyes and the sad songs the women sang at pianos, those were fine
no subject
[ not in that context, anyway. ]
i know the feeling. not to the same extent maybe, but...
i'll try to be a good distraction during our pub crawl/tour.
no subject
[ Then again, when he drinks too much, things tend to get lewd and messy, so maybe he shouldn't be encouraging them to lose that much control, though it would be a fun night. ]
now here's a more important question. what's your drink of choice?
no subject
i'm not exceptionally picky on that, but when i was younger i used to sneak shots of whiskey out of my dad's liquor cabinet. i sort of grew a taste for it.
[ don't let her fool you, though. a little too much will probably put her ass under the table. ]
no subject
[ besides, it reminds him of faraday and drinking with that man had been nothing but a good time he wouldn't mind recreating. ]
no subject
probably more than a few good drink recommendations, too.
[ quinn has never in her life been half as reckless as faraday, or maybe hers was just a different kind of recklessness, but in the right mood she can be a pretty fun drunk. ]
so does that mean you'll give me the pub crawl tour?
no subject
[which, in his opinion, is the best of times.]
ridiculously late, but if you're game to continue...
no subject
[he's definitely not talking about why he has, especially his history, but she doesn't need to know that.]
anywhere that serves tequila is fine by me.
