idk, the entire basis of this town makes it seem like there'd be plenty of stuff to keep you occupied. but i've been wrong before.

sometimes, yeah. lately it's been more singing than anything, but I sort of grew up damcing.

nobody does that apart from the girls who sing in saloons where I come from. I didn't even think that could be a job.

but it sounds like a lot has changed.
it's actually pretty common now, for people to make a living singing, dancing or both.

but since you brought it up, what do you do for work around here?

last place I was, it was Rose Creek, 1879. I think. I don't remember the last time I saw a calendar, for all I know, I'm years off

I work at the gun range, teaching people how to shoot, because that's what I'm good at, at home. no one sings and dances there, though, usually they get shot if they try

at least where i come from. i guess i'm not really sure how time works here.

I've been able to tell, don't exactly like feeling so out of place, and it never really goes away.

depends how nicely you sing, but I think I'd go for the lasso first, then maybe a gag? Unless you've got a pretty voice. I did like the lullabyes and the sad songs the women sang at pianos, those were fine

i'd like to think i'm decent enough, but i suppose that's subjective. who knows, maybe after a few drinks you'll be able to answer that question yourself. although i'd prefer not to be lassoed.

i know the feeling. not to the same extent maybe, but...
i'll try to be a good distraction during our pub crawl/tour.

or maybe if you start singing, that's a sign that you need to drink more.

[ Then again, when he drinks too much, things tend to get lewd and messy, so maybe he shouldn't be encouraging them to lose that much control, though it would be a fun night. ]

in theory, it could be both. i guess we'll just have to see how things go.

i'm not exceptionally picky on that, but when i was younger i used to sneak shots of whiskey out of my dad's liquor cabinet. i sort of grew a taste for it.

[ don't let her fool you, though. a little too much will probably put her ass under the table. ]

now we can talk. whiskey isn't my preference, but I know plenty of people who like it enough that I've gotten good at drinking it

it sounds like you've got a lot of stories you could tell.
probably more than a few good drink recommendations, too.

[ quinn has never in her life been half as reckless as faraday, or maybe hers was just a different kind of recklessness, but in the right mood she can be a pretty fun drunk. ]

now you're talking about one of the things I'm very good at. You name the place and the time, I'll make a plan that should have us unable to walk by the end of the night.
