This isn't exactly the trip to town that Vasquez had expected.
She'd thought she would come and see these people that Robert had to deal with. True, she didn't think she was going to like all of them, but she also didn't think that she would feel this much rage and fury when she saw how they treated him. They spoke down to him, they ignored him, and they laughed at him. Dressed in her pretty frock and her hair loose, she knows she's supposed to be demure, but it's a very good thing that they'd disarmed her before she got to town. If they hadn't, she'd be in the jail cell because she would have shot someone in her fury.
As it is, they're pulling her off of Doc Holliday, while Aleja spits furious Spanish invective at him, furious at the jokes they've been making on Robert's behalf. "He is twice the man that you will ever be," she finishes, spitting at his and Earp's feet, irritated on Robert's behalf.
Forcing her arm out of the hold, she sneers at the men holding her. "I'm going," she snaps, grabbing her thick fur coat and hauling it on, shoving hat on her head and thinking it's good she came here to see this. Because now, she's not letting Robert come even close to this place after everything that she's seen. She stands in the doorway and waits for him, because she's not leaving without him.
They're never coming back to this place and Aleja is already making plans to never let him work for these two men, not when he deserves so much more.

Her orgasm surprises her, a moan captured on her lips. "Oh, Robert," she exhales as her whole body sinks back down, letting out an amazed and delighted laugh.
"You can do that to me anytime," she promises, curling around him as she nuzzles in.

Not that she makes it truly difficult. It is a shared life so far, up to and including this moment when they've come together in pleasure.
Amazed by the sensation of her body, the words, how his name sounds on her lips in that moment. But it's the way her body moves against him that makes Robert groan, head bowed and his back arched. His own moans nearly drowning out those words, that promise he will seek out often as he loses control, clinging to her, unable to fathom the depth of pleasure as it possesses him as he comes only a few moments later.

Not until he makes her, at least.
"So," she murmurs, brushing her fingers over his neck and hair. "Does this change any plans of ours?"

Instead he laughs, a soft chuckle as he wraps his arms around her and holds her tight.
"Nope. Nothing I wanted before this is changed. I want to be with you. Here. Wherever you want to go that's warmer," he says, teasing her for how much the winter has bothered her. "Only thing that's changed is that I want to do that again," he vows. "Often as you want."

"If we go somewhere warmer, we'll still have this, but not our nice little home," which is disappointing because she's grown to like it here. "But I don't want to be cold anymore, I want my blood to boil and sing."

"Then we'll find a new home," he says, meaning it. "We'll find a beautiful home, and a place that you'll love, and we can be happy. Whatever it is you want in a home, you'll have it. We'll find a way."

Maybe he'll have given her back the ring by then, but she's not setting expectations for him, not when they could disappoint her yet.

"What would make you happy?"

"Mexico, home, it would be nice," she admits, "even though I know that this is your home and I would never want you to give it all up."

"My home is where you are. So here. Mexico. Anywhere in between. So long as I'm with you, I am home."
