She looks at it warily, not entirely sure that she's ready to put it on. The truth of it is that now that she's feeling something for him, she feels so false wearing it, like she's somehow going to tempt fate. It's enough to make her nerves sing and she palms it, even though she doesn't put it on, but rather, takes off her chain and medallion to add it to that, because she's not wearing his ring.
Not unless he actually asks her to and he won't, not with him going back into town.
"I thought maybe you were going to go ride and check, see if everything is safe." If she had her way, Vasquez would stay here where it's secure and comfortable, but people might start to notice. "With the snow melting, I'm surprised you haven't gone yet." Not disappointed, just surprised.
